Deprogramming in the US or Europe ceased in 1980s when the deprogrammers such as Ted Patrick found themselves in jail or such as Rick Ross & CAN (Cult Awareness Network) were ordered to reward a victim almost US$5 million in punitive and compensatory damages.
In Japan, More than 4000 Unification Church members have been victimized by deprogramming practice since 1966. And it's ocurring in Japan even now.
2014-01-28 Today is the judgement day of the Toru Goto's court case. The session will start at the court room 709 at 3pm at the Tokyo District Court. I'm not in Tokyo to witness the judgement.
